When my friend Eva from The Thoughtful Type asked me if I would take some photos of a restaurant, Park Square Cellar, that she was rebranding, I of course said yes. I met Eva when I obtained her and her companies service to do my own branding. Since then she has become a good friend and has continued to help me with design projects when needed. I am so incredibly grateful for her you have no idea!
Park Square Cellar is very near and dear to Eva’s heart. For those who know Eva, you know that she is a wine LOVER! So when Park Square Cellar opened a retail wine and cheese shop/bar in 2004 in a community in Lithia called Fish Hawk Ranch not too far from her home, she was ecstatic. Her and her husband soon became regulars. In 2009 Park Square Cellar expanded to include a larger bar, cocktail lounge, retail space featuring wine, cigars and spirits, and what Eva considers best of all, they added a restaurant. With all these upgrades and new additions, the owners felt it was time to have a new look to their brand identity as well and who else would they go to but Eva.
I unfortunately have not had the pleasure of dining at PSC since it is far from my home. I’ll admit, I was hoping we would get to have a little bite when we were there for the shoot but the kitchen wasn’t open. Darn it! The menu looked AMAZING!!! Which was all the more torturous when I was there… and hungry no less! Park Square Cellar offers an eclectic menu that includes seasonal daily specials, indoor and patio seating, with a modern, yet informal atmosphere with a vast selection of the best wines you can find. Despite the distance, I plan on making my way there one of these nights. The atmosphere, menu and wine list are too irresistible for a foodie wanna be like me. If you are in the Tampa Bay area, make an effort to go and tell them Eva sent you! ; )
